All Collinsville CUSD 10 Students Receive Free Meals at School
Beginning last school year, Collinsville Community Unit School District #10 qualified to serve FREE meals to ALL students under the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) of the National School Lunch and Breakfast Program. No sign-up or preregistration is required.
All students in elementary schools and Dorris Intermediate School receive free lunch and breakfast.
Collinsville Middle School and Collinsville High School students receive free lunch and breakfast if they choose a full meal (a fruit, grain and milk at breakfast; and a fruit, vegetable, grain, meat and milk at lunch). CMS and CHS will incur a charge for any ala carte items purchased.
Please take time to refer to the information about CEP/Free Meals that is posted on the district website. In addition to details about the CEP program, CMS and CHS families will also find information on how Point of Sale works, as well as instructions on how to set up a meal payment account using Skyward Family Access.
Note: This provision does not eliminate any outstanding account balances incurred in previous years.
Important Information Regarding Fee Waivers
Prior to CEP in our district, student fees were waived based on whether a household met the standards to qualify for free or reduced lunch. If your household or family does not qualify for direct certification via Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits, you MUST complete the Student Fee Waiver Application and return it to your child(s) respective school office as soon as possible.
