CUSD 10 health staff are conducting a course for parents and students to learn lifesaving skills together on Thursday, October 15, from 5-7 pm at Renfro Elementary School.

The course is for CUSD 10 students in 4th grade and older accompanied by at least one parent.  The cost is $15 (cash only) for each participant to cover the resource book and certification card.  

Participants will learn:
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation for adult/child/infant
  • Use of an AED for adult/child
  • Choking Resuscitation for adult/child/infant
You must register in advance.  The number of participants is limited.  For additional information and to register, please email our district's lead nurse, Lisa Sabatino, at lsabatin@cusd.kahoks.org, and provide name/grade of student, name of participating parent(s) and your contact information for follow up.

The course will also be offered in Spring 2027, watch for information.  Informational flyers are attached.
