Collinsville Middle School bilingual translator Ana Del Burgo was recognized today as March 2025 Kahok Educator of the Month.

The award was presented by CMS Principal Brad Snow and local Benjamin F. Edwards financial advisor Jason Rehg.  

In his nomination of Ms. Del Burgo, Mr. Snow wrote:

"Ana is a great addition to the Collinsville CUSD 10 staff.  She splits her time between Collinsville Middle School and Kreitner Elementary.  She is always willing to call parents with staff and translate messages.  She attends all of the IEP meetings of our Spanish speaking families.  She does a number of home visits to check on students and to give messages if they cannot be reached by phone.  Ana comes to work everyday with a smile on her face and is always willing to do whatever needs done to help our Spanish speaking students succeed and their families feel welcome."
